We had our Disney Fairy Tale Wedding at the Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. Planning our intimate wedding their was a dream come true for us. This elegant venue, located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, offered us a picturesque setting for exchanging our vows with close family and friends. With its Victorian architecture and stunning views of Cinderella Castle, the pavilion provided a fairy-tale ambiance that’s was both romantic and intimate. The whole wedding planning process was guided by a Disney wedding coordinator. There were lots of decisions but with the coordinators guidance, it was fun.
Why Did We Choose Disney’s Wedding Pavilion? The pavilion is designed to host up to 250 guests, but was perfectly suited for a smaller gathering like ours. The chapel’s large windows frames Cinderella Castle, creating a magical backdrop for our nuptials. Also, the Disney venue fee was way much less than having in front of the castle at the Magic Kingdom and we didn’t have to worry about the weather. 😉
Planning Our Intimate Ceremony
- Guest List: We kept our guest list limited to close family and friends to maintain an intimate atmosphere and keep within the budget. Also, a smaller group allowed for more personalized interactions with everyone…not so overwhelming.
- Ceremony Details: We worked with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings team to customize our ceremony. From selecting music that held special meaning to incorporating our own personal vows. These our the details that made our dream wedding uniquely ours.
- Floral and Décor: We opted for elegant yet simple floral arrangements that complemented both the pavilion’s beauty and our wedding party colors. The venue’s classic design didn’t require much additional decor.
- Photography: We captured our special moment with a Disney professional photographer. The pavilion’s picturesque setting provided a stunning backdrop for our wedding photos…especially Cinderella’s Castle.
Final Thoughts Our Disney intimate wedding at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion offered a perfect blend of elegance and enchantment. By focusing on the elements that matter most to us, we were able to create a memorable experience that reflected our story and personalities. With the support of Disney’s dedicated wedding team, our fairy-tale wedding became a reality. We are so thankful to have this experience, and I know us and our loved ones will cherish for years to come.
