I will tell you what I have . I have a ton of great used clothing, and about 75% infants thru size 14, both sexes. I have videos, 75% are kids, used VHS, I have books, some brand new but only $1, 75% kids again. I have Christian books. I am actually selling everything for $1 but I’m not going to put that in the ad as I think it will deter the bargain hunters, but the stuff I have is great and I mean like Nike, disney and great stuff. my kids are grown and gone and I am emptying out the house. So a ton must go. Any suggestions on how to pull them in with the ad. I have done many, and know about setting up signs and all but I don’t buy/shop garage sales so I don’t know what to say to grab their attention best ? Heh you garage sale aholics, want to write an ad or share what catches your eye ? Ad goes in Wed., 9-12 thanks so much from a person who desperately need income. WEndy
My husband and I were invited to a wedding taking place this summer in Orlando. We don’t live near FL so if we go, we figured we might as well go to Disney World too! Neither of us have been!
The thing is, we don’t want to spend a lot of money and we wouldn’t be able to go for super long, maybe 4-5 days.
We thought a good way to do this might be to just do/see stuff that’s more geared toward couples since it’ll be just the two of us (and we’ll save the “kid” stuff for someday in the future when we have kids).
So any suggestions??? What would YOU do? Any experienced Disney-goers??? Epcot? Magic Kingdom? Any special restaurants or shows that aren’t really pricey?
Also any recommendations on where to stay? We’re definitely open to the idea of staying in a decent hotel outside of Disney in order to save the money.
Or do you all think we should pass, considering it will be the middle of summer and really busy?? There’s always another time, right?
I WOULD LIKE TO MARRY A BOY NAMED COLE OUR WEDDING WOULD BE A HAWIAN THEME AND IT BE INFLORDIA I WOULD GET A SKY BLUE COLOR DRESS WITH DIAMONDS EVERYWHERE AND HE WOULD BE IN A WHITE TUX AND EVERYONE WOULD BE THERE AND THERE WOULD BE WHITE ROSES AND IT WOULD BE BY THE OCEAN AND THERE WOULD BE A 6 FOOT CAKE WITH CANDY ON IT AND FOR OUR HUNNYMOON WE WOULD GO TO DISNEY LAND IN A BLACK STRECH HUMMER WE WOULD STAY THERE FOR 1 WEEK AND HAVE THE TIME OF OUR LIFES!! okay, this cake is based on disney’s corpse bride and the second, third are ‘mad hatter’ cakes. the last is a birthday cake….what would be the prices on these cakes to recreate?? I wanted buttercream icing, vanilla cake filled with raspberry…..if u have more info on recreating these: Y! IM:caramelcamilla
the top 3 that I can think of are:
A Whole New World- Aladdin
Can You Feel the Love Tonight- The Lion King
You’ll be in my Heart- Tarzan
I have thought about this for the future. Wouldn’t it be nice and dreamy? If so, how would you design it?
I’m not engaged. But, I just answered a question about someone having their wedding at Disney World. I provide the Disney Weddings site. I decided, since I went to the trouble of googling it, I might as well read it.
Wow, Disney can throw some pretty great weddings! Not everything seemed too themey or childish. Some stuff looked really nice and elegant.
I also saw that the minimiumns for the low season are only $12,000-$15,000 which is not bad at all.
Now, I’m not engaged. But, I’m just being curious. If I someday decided to have a Disney Destination Wedding, how many guests would come?
Most wedding, are about 150 people. So, let’s just use that as the base. How many people who actually accept an invite to a Disney Destination Wedding, granted, they were given about 12-18 months notice?
i wanted to get married at disney in florida, as there is a lot of expense for family and friends to go then i want to bring disney to the uk so then it will be more feasible to have them their, so i need to know how much it would cost to have a disney or fairytale wedding, or to know of anyone that has had a wedding like this in the uk, please let me know as i need as much info as possible to make my wedding perfect. thankyou.
I’m just wondering if this would be rude and if not, how I go about asking. I am getting married next year. We’ve been trying to figure out what we want to do for a honeymoon. It came up that my aunt and uncle live in Port Orange, Flordia, which is right next to Orlando. I don’t know if they will be able to make it to the wedding, because my uncle doesn’t like to travel much. We were thinking that maybe, they could let us stay with them for like a week , and we could go to Disney World and Daytona beach for our honeymoon. I have not seen them since I was 5 years old. ( Due to the fact that uncle Wayne does not like to travel as I said and because we never had the money for a vacation). Would it be rude of us to suggest or ask if we could stay there for maybe a week for our honeymoon? They haven’t seen me since I was 5, as I said, and I know they would like to see me again, and I’m sure they would like to meet my fiancee ( he’ll be my husband then, durrr). What do you think?
So I thought I knew what I wanted when it came to my wedding. Than I saw this show on TV about getting married at Disney World. According to that, a wedding can be as little as $5,000 for about 20 people. I figure for 50 of my closest friends and family it would be about $10,000 which is what my budget is anyway.
So I’m just curious, if you had the choice, would you rather get married in Disney World with 50 of your closest friends and family there or have a larger wedding close to home?
