Should The Parents Of The Bride Contact The Groom’s Parents After They Get Engaged?

Our son is getting married. He has been engaged for over a year. We live over 700 miles from him , his fiance and her parents. WE have no idea what has gone on up to this point.
1. Her parents have yet to call us.
2. They have planned a Disney Wedding Destination Cruise.
3. They have sent out invitations to only a few aunts, uncles, and cousins on our side. (who…by the way can not make it)
4. We don’t know if there was or will be a shower.
5. Our son says he doesn’t care that no one can make it cause “this is just for us”!
6 The wedding is at the end of August
7. We found out that some of his very wild crazy friends will be on the cruise.
8. We are feeling very awkward about calling her parents.
9. They are having 2 ceremonies — 1 before they board the ship and another on Disney’s Private island on the last day of the cruise. However, we don’t know if there will be a dinner etc.
Was it our place to contact the bride’s parents? Shouldn’t they have included us in some of the plans? We are quite upset and don’t know how to handle this. We are not planning on attending the cruise. We are trying to get info on the pre cruise ceremony and attend that.
( This cruise will set us back over $3,000! Maybe $4,000 with plane flight. That doesn’t include the gift we would like to give our son. We are retired and just can’t afford this! We don’t want to hurt his feelings but times are tough. We would rather give them a nice gift instead of paying for the cruise. Also, we will feel really weird to meet her parents for the first time at that point.)

Is It Disney’s Fault That So Many People Are Unhappy With There Marriage?don’t They Create Unreal Expectations

They fill all these young girls heads up with idea you need to grow up and be a princess and meet a prince and move into a castle and live happily ever after.
Marriage can’t live up to this expectation. All these girls dream there whole life of there wedding day. The girls all run around disney now with mouse ears with vails. The shoes they sell with the princess dresses play here come the bride when you put them on. Also disney never has movies about parents they kill off the parents the mother dies in cinderella, the little mermaid, bambi, the game plan, hanna montana, nemo and lots more. The father dies in lion king,
air bud and lots more. I think Disney is setting all these girls up for a big fall. And making it impossible for the avg Joe to
satisfiy his wife in marriage because they expect the fairy tale.

Why Do Some Stocks Just Seem To Take Off Despite Any Compelling News As To Why They Should?

For Instance, JCP is up 13% since wed morning and Disney is up 14% since wed morning.
Does anyone know why these stocks went up or why stocks in general shoot up when there is no impacting news?
(By impacting news, i mean Kelloggs accounces it did better than analyst estimates and whent up 10% kind of news)

Have You Ever Noticed The Sexual Hidden Stuff They Put In Disney Movies But Dont Tell People?

my friend played these movie for me to show me.
In the lion king where simba was rolling around with that female lion on the grass, you pause it when the clouds are moving and it spells “sex” its not distorted or a maybe, you can see it very good.
In the little mermaid during the wedding, right after the priest says dearly beloved, he pops a huge bone.r under his robe and you can see it shaped very clearly, its gross and visible.
In aladin, where aladin is on the balcony with with the blue genie and jasmine. If you put it up really loud. you can hear robin williams (the blue genie) saying “ask her to take her clothes of”
my friend showed me this but i think you have to own the old video copies, now its been removed.
Do you know any other stuff theyve put into disney movies?
