WE tv cordially invites glamorous couples to an exclusive black tie event. “Platinum Weddings” is in its fifth season of presenting stunning, extravagant weddings and looking for more stories to tell.

If you are planning an extraordinary wedding with a budget of $300,000 or more, they would like to hear from you. They are looking for beautiful brides, talented event planners and creative vendors who can showcase their exciting detailed event. The episode will showcase: catering, florals, décor, cake, lighting, photography and the venue. But it is the bride, the groom and the event planner who narrate the story. Well, now one lucky couple will be able to have millions in the MySpace social network pick every detail of the “wedding of their dreams”. “Married on MySpace” will be the name of the new online reality series starting May 15th.  Video submissions will be accepted online here until April 17th. Disney is one of the major sponsors of the contest to coincide with the release of their upcoming movie “The Proposal” with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. The Knot will be giving their wedding planning advice and be providing editorial content.

Finalists will be announced on April 24 and then MySpace users will be able to start voting for their favorite couple. Also, users will be able to vote for other aspects of the wedding such as location, dress, flowers, registry, and bachelor party. The chosen couple will be announced in May when the 13-webisode series begins. It will conclude in early August with the wedding ceremony.
