This is not wedding related but I just had to post a great video of a guy that did a stop motion photography trip around Epcot which took 6 hours to shoot and 12 hours to edit.

Yep, that’s right. After Disney finishes building their first family destination resort in Hawaii in 2011 you will be able to have your Disney Fairy Tale Wedding in Hawaii.

The resort will be located in the picturesque Ko Olina area on the western side of Oahu and is to include 350 traditional hotel rooms and feature 480 timeshare vacation villas.

Plans also inlcude a pool and water play area, an 18,000 square-foot spa, A WEDDING LAWN, a 8,000 square-foot convention center, and a children’s club.

I would image that Disney Fairy Tale Weddings will extend all their services to this location as well. So, keep on the lookout for more info on weddings at this new Disney Resort in Hawaii. DISNEY and HAWAII – Sounds like a great place for a Honeymoon!

Fairy tales that have been told for generations have been assimilated into Disney films to carry on the fantasy of every girl becoming a Princess one day. These films have created a certain aesthetic that has shaped the way that a girl grows up wanting to be the belle of the ball and possibly be swept off her feet by her very own Prince Charming. From high school proms to weddings, the theme of ball gowns and tiaras has permeated the desires of grown women. Before the Disney phenomenon tiaras were exclusive to papal ceremonies and royalty, but now every girl can have her dream come true thanks to Walt’s animated fairy tales.

The desire to dress up in an amazing dress and wear sparkling jewellery seems ingrained in western culture. A new Disney bridal dress “Giselle” has been released by Disney Princess dress designed Kirstie Kelly. This new dress is inspired by the Disney “Enchanted” movie. Also, in this line of Disney Princess gowns: Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, and Ariel. I think they are absolutely beautiful. The detail is amazing. Kirstie Kelly did a great job.
