Disney Wedding Questions »
My fiance and I are having a beach themed wedding (we got engaged on Martha’s Vineyard on the beach). The cake is going to be three tiered with chocolate and white chocolate seashells and coral and seahorses on them in our wedding color, which is fuchsia. My fiance and I have talked about doing a cake topper with the Ariel (The Little Mermaid) and Prince Eric on it…but not the one in their wedding gear, one of Prince Eric carrying areil while she is a mermaid.
Background. 1) The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie and all my childhood, into High School, I collected Disney movies 2) My fiance knows I love the Little Mermaid, we we are super dorky when we go to the ocean and we “play” the Little Mermaid, where he throws me into an on-coming wave to jump through it (so silly, i know, but its fun! 
I hestitate because some people may not make the connection as to why that is our topper, esp. since I don’t have red hair. What do you think?

This might me a bit long…i tend to ramble i will apologize in advance…
We (my best friend and I) have a very close friend that is getting married next January. She recently moved to FL, and we live in NY. She will be getting married in Disney.
When she 1st for engaged, she had told us we would be in the wedding party as well. In the end she only opted for a maid of honor, which is better for us (less expensive). In June, she will be flying to NY for us to have her “bachalorette weekend” which I will be using my bosses Hampton house for.
Now, for that weekend, her and her maid of honor want us to take off from work on Friday (they actually expected us to do so, without ASKING 1st). When we said we possibly can not, she got mad @ us, only for us to find out that 2 other girls that will be coming for the weekend are only coming up for one day! Why is it ok for the rest of them to come up for one day, but we have to take off from work? And everything for that weekend is planned to the minute…
Now…even though the wedding is 8 months away, and WE ARE NOT in the wedding party,we are just guests, she calls us @ least 4 times a week to talk about hotel arrengements and flight arrengements and this and that. And she would like us to be there on a specific day @ a specific time, which means more time off from work for us. She also wants us to book certain hotels ONLY, but we have a timeshare which maybe cheaper for us to book through them. When we mentioned this to her, she again got very upset with us, that we are not “going along with her plans”.
With the way the economy is going, we’re just trying to fit this whole wedding in our budget. If staying @ the hotel she chose for is is cheaper, then yea, we would stay there, but if it’s cheaper to stay @ the time share then most certently we will stay there.
Are we being “bad” or “rude” friends that we are complaning?

Venice is considered one of Italy’s most beautiful cities. The city of Venice really abounds with traditions and must-see places.

I have been dating my fiance for 5+ years and we have been engaged since May 6, 2007. In April he met this girl and developed a bond with her. He then became confused about what he wanted with life. We’ll on May 6th her proposed to me while in Disney World. Everything was great up to today (July, 4th). My best friend called me and wanted me to come over with out my fiance. She then broke the news that she found out her was sleeping with this same girl. I went home and confronted him…He admitted to everything. He then proceeded to ask me why I was so in love with him. I followed my answer by asking if he still wanted to marry me…He responded with yes…And he wants to go to marriage counsling. My question is…Is it worth doing am I wasting my time, or should I try to salvage what we have since I’m so in love and attached to him? He also is wanting to move to Illinois after the wedding (thats where is parents are from). I’m ok with going, actually I want to go.

my husband and I married shortly after meeting each other. Neither of us had extra money, so I never got a wedding or engagement ring. We are 2 years into marriage and still nothing. We get alot back for taxes, and he is mentioning taking the family to Disney world. I bought a cheap fake once as a hint, and he said, you have a ring when I brought it up. He acts as if its silly when to me it is sacred. Otherwise our relationship is good.
