23 April 2009 12 Comments

Hi guys, my partner and I are planning our wedding at Disney and want to know if many people from the UK have done it and how much they enjoyed it?! What it was like etc. We are planning an Intimate wedding so no more than 18 guests at Disney’s wedding pavilion. Thanks!

my partner and i are talking about the same thing, we are madly in love iwth disney in florida and think that nothing could be better than getting married there, i have the idea of getting married in the evening and having the view of ciderellas castle in the pictures, and also because wishes would be going on not long after, just sounds so romatnic.
Good luck, you will absolutely love it, will make your special day even more magical.
it was the signs from the celebration, you know where they said the happiest celebration on earth, well so will a wedding be, so where better to do it, than the place of a thousand dreams. where once upon a time happens once upon a day lol, i love disney so think your brilliant for getting married there!!
    have fun and enjoy yourself!

We got married in June last year in florida. We stayed at Grand floridian and had our wedding dinner in Victoria & Alberts restaurant in the hotel and it was truly amazing. We went on our own so didnt get married in the wedding pavilion – but certainly had a look and saw many brides going off to get maried each day. It is beautiful and the wedding planner will do such an amazing job for you. The setting is exceptional and not remotely tacky. Have a great wedding!

I heard that disney weddings are so awesome, that the disney wedding planner does everything for you such as the cake and decorations and all, and that its sometimes cheaper to go that way then to plan and buy everything yourself. but if the both of you love the whole disney, mickey mouse theme then go for it.

Oh. My. God. I thought Disney weddings were a joke, I didn’t think that people REALLY did it.
A bit tacky and tasteless, don’t you think it makes a mockery of marriage?
I have been to Disneyland in California and Tokyo Disney, so I know first hand that they’re tacky! Someone in a mouse suit at your wedding. It’s not very dignified, is it? Makes Vegas look classy.

Sounds tacky to me but if you like that sort of thing then it is up to you.
